MACHINE WITH DUAL POWER TWO-STAGE MATRIX CONVERTER

Abstract

The control algorithm of a Double-fed induction machine with the help of two-stage matrix converter, connected in the rotor, is presented. In contrast to the scheme, where back-to-back PWM inverter is used, this converter provides direct AC-AC conversion, with sinusoidal input currents and close to unity power factor operation. Simulation of power generation system based on double-fed induction machine was carried out.
