Abstract

The formation of asymmetric windings of two-speed asynchronous electric motors by phase modulation is considered. The asymmetry of two-speed windings occurs under a condition of a multiplicity of three of one of the number of pole pairs. the deviation of the angles between the axes of the phases from the value of 2p/3. A method is proposed for constructing such windings with an equal number of sections in the phases, which ensures Vaeth decrease in the degree of asymmetry.
