Abstract

The mode of capacitive excitation of single-phase asynchronous motors with a short-circuited rotor and asymmetrical windings on the stator shifted by 90 ° is considered. Depending on the connection circuit of the container to the windings, a self-excitation mode is possible with a circular or elliptical field. Recommendations on how to determine the limits of the existence of the regime for these cases are given. The concept of minimum critical speed, independent of the value of capacitance, is introduced. A comparison of various schemes in terms of obtaining the maximum braking effect. The features of changes in moments, currents and voltages with speed changes in circuits with an elliptical field are considered. Ill. 4, bibl. 2.
