The influence of the second shortening on e. d. and the harmonic composition of the magnetizing forces of multi-speed windings.
Abstract
A method is proposed for a quantitative assessment of the effectiveness of the application of the second shortening in order to reduce the size of egalitarian e. s., arising in parallel branches of windings of multi-speed machines. The concept of the second shortening coefficient is introduced. The analysis of the winding properties change with the second shortening is performed. It is shown that the winding with the second shortening provides a flux linkage with all the harmonics - even, odd and multiples of three. It is proved that the winding with the second shortening preserves symmetry with respect to the harmonics generated by the original winding. Tab. 2, ill. 4, bibl. 2
