Energy saving potential of port lifting machines.

Abstract

The results of calculating the energy consumption from the supply network by electric drives of the mechanisms of three types of gantry cranes for relay-contactor and frequency control systems in commissioning and braking modes of operation are given. The energy saving potential is the difference in energy consumption with these control systems.
