Calculation of the characteristics of a single-phase asynchronous motor with shielded poles.

Abstract

A method for calculating the characteristics of a single-phase asynchronous motor with shielded poles, based on the energy balance of active and reactive powers, is proposed. The equivalent circuit, algorithm for calculating and comparing the calculated mechanical and performance data with experimental data are given.
