Investigation of the damping properties of the anchor windings of the stepped design with the vertical stacking of sections in the groove.

Abstract

Considered eight possible versions of the stepped winding with the same steps along the slots of the short and long sections, with the same winding direction of the armature. For reversing machines with a stepped winding, having a shortening of εк> 0.5 Uп, it is necessary that a short section separated from the upper sides of the sections lies in the Un layer. When shortening εk <0.5 Up, it is necessary that the section be separated from the upper sides, lying in the first layer. For non-reversible machines, a winding with shortening εk <0.5 Up is recommended, in which a section lying in the Uc layer is separated from the upper sides. Tab. 1, ill. 1, bibl. 3
