Influence of electrical arc on the breaking process of low-voltage electric devices

Abstract

In the contribution are presented the results of temperature rise calculations for stationary arc root on the contacts and on the splitters of extinguishing chambertoo. The experimental results of materials eroston and overheating of parts of current path were made with contacto:'s and miniature circuit breakers.
