ТECHNICAL CYARACTERISTICS EUROPEAN ELECTRIC CARS

Abstract

In overview article comparison of modern European electric car of firms of Opel Ampera,
BMW, Renault, with electric car of Tesla Motors and Nissan Leaf, is driven. Diesel fuel was considered environmentally friendly, but studies have shown that nitrogen dioxide and particulate matter released by the
engine are deadly for asthmatics and allergy sufferers, lead to an increase in heart attacks, strokes, and the
development of diabetes mellitus. It is shown that the magnates of the automotive industry turned their faces
to an electric vehicle. Tactic-technical characteristics of these electric vehicles are brought, which already
produce and they can be found on the roads of Europe. The article compares the power of the engine, its
torque, the capacity of the battery, the duration of run on one charge, the time of acceleration of the car to
100 km and the average consumption of electricity per 100 km of the car's run. European electric cars yield
to American on many parameters, but Tesla Model excel on an index “middle expense of electricity on 100
km”. The number of electric vehicles on the roads of developed countries is growing every year and this
trend will continue. At the Geneva Motor Show in March 2018, the concept of new electric vehicles is presented, which will compete with the Tesla Model for maximum power reserve, reduce acceleration time and
increase the level of autonomy. In Ukraine, as well as in European countries, there is a tendency to develop
the infrastructure of “green cars”. He is reliable, economical and main ecologically safe, that undoubtedly
will result in expulsing by him cars with combustion engines. At the first stage this year it is planned to install 10 fast charging stations in Kiev.
