COMPARISON OF MATERIALS INTENSITY PARAMETERS OF MOTOR DRIVES FOR INDUSTRIAL DRIVES

Abstract

The article provides calculation results for characteristic (parameter) defined by the ratio of motor drive mass to the rated rotation moment (torque) for mass produced AC and DC motors. This parameter defines the material intensity of studied mass produced motor drives from various vendors.
