Relay control of electric drive system GD with thyristor excitation of the generator.
Abstract
The results of industrial tests of the system for controlling the excitation of a generator that supplies a DC motor for the mechanisms of the pressing device of vertical slabing rollers "1150" are given. A block diagram of the system of optimal (with respect to the minimum of the integral quadratic error) control obtained in the synthesis of such a system by the method of analytical design of regulators is given. It is shown that the use of relay current and speed regulators ensures the formation of good dynamic characteristics of the electric drive, eliminates alternating loads in gears, reduces the time of movement of the electric drive by more than two times.
