Calculation of heating shunt excitation winding with a three-dimensional heat flux.

Abstract

The method of thermal calculation of the temperature potential of the winding in three-dimensional space is presented. The analysis of the distribution of maximum temperature exceedances under different cooling conditions is given. An example of calculating the coil temperature field is given.
