Increasing the sensitivity of the insulation breakdown indication during pulse testing of transformers.

Abstract

The analysis of some existing methods of indication of insulation breakdown for transformers at a very high voltage has been carried out. A broadband insulation breakdown indication method is proposed that provides sufficient sensitivity over the entire height of the winding.
