Calculation of the dynamic modes of operation of saturated uncompensated DC machines.

Abstract

A numerical method for calculating the transient processes of direct current machines on a digital computer is proposed, taking into account the non-uniformity of the air gap along pole division and variable saturation of all parts of the magnetic circuit of the machine. Expressions for differential inductances are given, and an algorithm for calculating the transitional digital computer is described. Comparison of the results of calculation and experimental oscillography indicates a high accuracy of the proposed method.
