Оn the issue of vibration of electric motors with the asymmetry of the supply network.

Abstract

The question of the vibration increment at the doubled frequency of the network when the supply voltage is unbalanced is considered. The limits of the asymmetry of the supply network, which do not lead to an unacceptable excess of vibration acceleration levels at the specified frequency, are determined. The proposed calculation formulas agree well with the experimental results.
