Analytical method for calculating the harmonic components of the torque of an induction motor.

Abstract

The method of calculating the variable component of the electromagnetic moment when the induction motor is powered by a non-sinusoidal or asymmetric voltage is described. A comparison of the results of the analytical calculation with simulation indicates the validity of the proposed calculation method.
