Optimal geometry smoothing choke thyristor electric drive.
Abstract
Some issues of technical and economic optimization of smoothing chokes on armored belt cores with copper and aluminum windings for two- and six-pulse thyristor drive circuits are considered. Optimization was carried out on the digital computer from the condition of providing the throttle with a specified thermal use of the driving motor in the entire range of speeds and drive loads. The optimal by weight or cost geometry of chokes for thyristor drives with power up to 12 kW is calculated.
