Abstract

Recent work on creation of low-voltage devices to equip a series of excavators is presented. Using these devices leads to 1.5-2 times decrease in energy consumption in comparison with conventional systems. Some of these machines are already in operation in the economy, some will be introduced in this and subsequent years.
