Investigation of the thermal state of DC electric machines with wave winding
Abstract
A study of the thermal state of a 75kW DC electric machine using mathematical modeling was carried out. The mathematical model of heat transfer processes is presented as a set of equations describing the processes of heat conduction, heat carrier flow along the ventilation system paths, heating the heat carrier due to heat taken from the electric machine surfaces. The problem was solved by the grid method on ohmic resistance models. anchors of an electric machine under different cooling conditions and thus ways were found to improve the thermal state of the machine in question.
