Pulse-step speed control of asynchronous motors

Abstract

The results of the study of one of the methods of quasi-frequency speed control of asynchronous motors. It has been established that with a certain switching sequence of thyristors of stator circuits, the speed of rotation of the first harmonic of the air curtain field will be halved. The mechanical and electromechanical characteristics of an asynchronous motor operating in this mode are given.
