MAIN PRINCIPLES OF CREATION AND CHARACTERISTICS OF CONTROLLED SELF- COMPENSING ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION LINES
Abstract
The proposed compact two-chain and multi-chain controllable transmission lines embody a set of new technical solutions. They provide for the creation of non-traditional designs, new phase connection schemes, the application of new control principles and hardware equipment. Compactness of the design is achieved by approaching the minimum phase distance of different circuits, permissible taking into account the maximum operating voltages, lightning and switching overvoltages. The differences between the circuits and the principles of regulation are that voltages are applied to the adjacent phases of different circuits, the vectors of which are shifted on adjustable within 0-180 electric degrees by means of special phase-turn transformers or the use of appropriate connection schemes. The complex of new technical solutions allows to create transmission lines of increased capacity throughput with regulated characteristics and improved economic and ecological characteristics by comparison with traditional transmission lines.
