Abstract

The magnitude and duration of the normal systematic overload of the transformer is determined by the load capacity graphs developed for typical daily two-step rectangular load schedules. The complex (real or calculated) complex daily load curve with one or several load maxima for a period (day) was converted into a load curve equivalent to the insulation of transformer insulation. The transformation was performed according to sections of the load curve, corresponding to the maximum of the load and the preceding load. It is based on the value of the mean square load at all sites. However, to ensure equivalence on the insulation deterioration of the transformer of the transformed graph as a whole, additional conditions were introduced for the given graph, depending on the nature of the given graph.
