Calculation of the transient process in a single-phase non-distorting choke saturation.
Abstract
The technique of analytical calculation of the transient process in a single-phase non-indicative saturation choke with an abrupt change in the control voltage is considered. The equations for determining the current in the control windings and the aperiodic component of the current in a short-circuited working windings during transients are given. Comparisons of calculated and experimental data for a single-phase non-distorting saturation choke layout confirm the validity of the obtained equations and the validity of the assumptions made when deriving the transient equations.
