METHOD FOR DETERMINING LIQUID PRESSURE IN A PIPELINE UNDER VIBRATION INFLUENCE

Keywords: water hammer, harmonics of pressure fluctuations, vibration load, resonance

Abstract

The possibility and nature of the influence of vibration loads on pressure changes in process pipelines of heat-generating installations is considered. The probability of occurrence of a phenomenon corresponding to water hammer is shown. The difference between the effect of increasing pressure in a plugged pipeline due to vibration and increasing pressure during water hammer (during sudden braking of fluid flow) is noted.
