Capacitor braking of asynchronous motors from the total capacity.
Abstract
A new kind of condensing braking is considered - group condenser braking (GCT) of induction motors from a common capacitance, which has significant advantages over conventional individual condenser braking: a small lower critical speed and a much lower specific consumption of capacity per 1 kW of the braked motors installed power. Much attention is paid to various GKT modes, in particular, joint braking of several engines connected to the tank non-simultaneously. Ill. 3
