Electric motor with permanent magnets for ship azipoda

Abstract

To increase the efficiency and reliability of the ship azipod propulsion drive, it's proposed a three-phase synchronous electric motor with permanent magnets on the rotor. The results of a quantitative rating of the basic engine parameters confrm this preposition.
