Three-speed pole-selectable windings with T-shaped external switching circuits.

Abstract

The results of a study of the electromagnetic properties of three-speed pole-switched stator windings with the use of T-shaped external switching circuits on one of the numbers of poles are given. The principles and the order of construction of the circuits of such windings are shown on the basis of the principles of vector analysis, the methods of symmetrical components and the theory of the windings of AC electric machines. Also shown are the features of the magnetic properties of T-shaped windings in comparison with symmetrical ones.
