Investigation of the deformation of the end surface of the bolt using optical holographic interferometry

Abstract

Using an optical system that implements a two-exposure holographic interferometry method, in the process of tightening a threaded part, the deformation of its end surface was investigated, which in well-known literature sources is described as not confirmed by any deformations, and therefore such deformations have not been previously used for technical diagnostics.
