Method of estimation of energy efficiency of industrial refrigeration systems

Abstract

Refrigeration plants consume a significant part of the electric energy produced. However, the quality of their operation is still virtually uncontrolled. The article presents a possible way of continuous measurement and evaluation of the energy efficiency of the refrigeration plant at the site of its end-user operation. The proposed approach allows a reasonable estimate of the refrigeration unit for such an integral indicator as the specific consumption of electric energy for the production of cold, which can be used for further technical diagnostics.
