Combined windings of electrical machines.

Abstract

The combined winding of electrical machines with an internal cascade, characterized by a higher use of active materials in comparison with two-winding motors, is considered. It is reported that the grouping of coils in the branches of the bridge circuit provides a consistent direction of rotation of the magnetic fields when fed at diagonal node points by voltage systems with the same phase rotation.
