Analysis of continuity in the interpretation of the basic concepts of the electromagnetic field in electrical engineering disciplines

Abstract

The paper shows that such basic characteristics of the electromagnetic field as flux, flux density, intensity and potential are widely used by physicists, electrical engineers (TOE specialists) and electricians. However, they put different meanings into these concepts, which, naturally, complicates their understanding. This circumstance should be considered when communicating the parties.
