Abstract

The article focuses on the possibilities and methods of usage of laboratory equipment, based on Mitsubishi Electric programmable logic controllers, inverters and graphic operation terminals, in the Odessa national maritime academy's educational process in order to improve the quality of marine electrical and mechanical engineers to meet the growing demands of employers. Modern tendencies in automation of ship power systems require a high level of cadet training to ensure the successful solution of complex tasks of control and automation systems operation and maintenance.
