Features switching DC machines non-magnetic active layer.

Abstract

The issues of switching reliability of DC machines whose armature winding is located in a non-magnetic layer are described. Formulas for calculating the average reactive emf are given. and indicated that the value of the latter decreases by about 2.5 times. In addition, switching reliability is improved due to other factors, the main ones of which are, first, the more correct form of the current of the switching sections, and, second, the increased damping capacity of the winding.
