Selection of slot openings for asynchronous machines subject to minimization of the crankcase coefficient.
Abstract
The slot geometry of asynchronous machines should, at the minimum magnetizing current of the asynchronous machine, provide the specified value of inductive short circuit resistance xk, which is caused by the need to obtain the required overload capacity of the machine. The article proposes a method for determining the slot openings for a given xc, which ensures obtaining the minimum value of the crankcase coefficient in an asynchronous machine with two-sided serration. The proposed technique is illustrated by an example of calculation.
