Electric angle lock.
Abstract
With a two-sided DC power supply, the asynchronous machine operates in the electric angle lock mode (EMA). A simple analytical expression for the electromagnetic moment of this mode of operation is proposed. The angular characteristics of EFMA are analyzed and a comparison of the characteristics calculated with and without account of saturation with experimental data is given. It has been established that with a constant specified product I₁I₂, as well as a constant level of the sum of joule losses in the stator and rotor windings, the electromagnetic moment in the case of any error angle reaches the maximum value if I₁ = I₂.
