Abstract

The possibility of using a capacitor reactive power compensation devices for voltage control of autonomous synchronous generator. Voltage regulation of synchronous generator by simultaneous changes in the capacitive current of the capacitor unit and the current in the field winding can significantly reduce the time of switching transients generator load.
