Precision linear DC motor on aerostatic guides.
Abstract
A linear contactless DC motor with a permanent magnet inductor mounted on a carriage moving along an aerostatic guide has been developed. Perturbing factors due to the operation of the motor switch and causing uneven running of the machine are analyzed. The calculated ratios for the pulsations of the traction effort are obtained, which make it possible to work out recommendations on the choice of the parameters of the armature winding and the inductor, which provide the required smoothness of the linear DC motor.
