Modernization of electric systems of crane mechanisms.

Abstract

The drawbacks of the electrical propulsion systems used for standard cranes are indicated. Recommendations for their elimination are given. The schemes of electric drives with the use of dynamic braking and active-reactive resistances in the rotor circuit of an asymmetric thyristor voltage regulator, introduced on some NRB cranes, are presented.
