TOOL CUTTING PART CONDITION ANALYSIS ON THE 3D-MODELS IN THE MACHINE VISION SYSTEMS
Abstract
The article exposes the problem of assessment of degree of wear cutting tools based on the 3D models. The method for points comparison polygonal 3D models of objects based on transformation of polygonal model of cutting tool to the cloud of points was developed. Computer experiment on the application of this method in the wear assessment system of the cutting tool was conducted. Recommendations on use of the developed method in machine vision systems were done.
