Abstract

The harmonic composition of the fields created by the combined three-phase windings with the ratio of the pole numbers 2p₁: 2p₂ = 2: 8 is analyzed, and possible fields of application of these windings in non-contact frequency converters and for smooth control of the rotation frequency of asynchronous motors are described.
