Switching DC machines with an incomplete number of additional poles and brush bolts.
Abstract
The features of the switching process of four-pole machines of average power with the wave windings of the armature, three additional poles and two brush bolts widely used in vehicles are considered. It is shown that switched circuits in this case are formed from two series-connected sections of the armature winding, however, the switching reliability of the wave windings with a full and incomplete number of brush bolts is equivalent. It is shown that the absence of one additional pole causes a change in the switching and reactive emf in the switched circuit. The expressions for determining the reactive emf and the calculation of additional poles are given.
