Abstract

The results of an experimental study of a stabilizer are given, the executive body of which is made in the form of an autotransformer having a section in the primary winding with numbers of turns forming a binary code. The sections are turned by means of simmistors. The stabilizer circuit is described; voltage waveforms are shown. It is shown that the higher harmonics in the secondary voltage are practically absent. The mass and dimensions of this stabilizer are smaller compared to the known transformer-thyristor stabilizers of the same power.
