Selection of the optimal frequency of power transformers.
Abstract
The optimum frequency of power transformers of the third and fourth dimensions is determined. A formula is given for calculating the maximum allowable induction in a rod as a function of the frequency and diameter of the rod for various methods of cooling the transformer and the different number of cooling channels. Based on the calculations, graphs of technical and economic indicators of transformers with increased frequency are given. It has been established that for transformers of the third and fourth dimensions the frequency of about 150 - 200 Hz can be considered optimal. Tables 5. Figures 6. Bibliographical references 1.
