Abstract

The results of the study of the heating of the armature of a machine with a nonmagnetic active layer, in which a two-layer armature winding is fixed, are given. Given the method of calculating the greatest overheating of copper anchors. An expression for determining the thickness of the insulation across the width of the groove is obtained. It is indicated that the greatest overheating of the double-layer armature winding with a radial ventilation system, calculated by the method of equivalent thermal circuit, is commensurate with overheating in a normal machine. The dependence of the overheating of the armature winding on the width of the core package, and the fact that the division of the nonmagnetic layer in width into separate belts in machines with axial ventilation systems is shown to be an effective means of reducing the armature overheating.
