Measurement of the energy loss of the electromagnetic field in areas of flat ferromagnetic structures of electrical machines and apparatus.

Abstract

The method of measuring local losses described in the article is a combination of methods for measuring, physical modeling and comparing the tangential component of the magnetic field strength on the surface of the investigated area and on the model surface, as well as the watt-meter method for determining steel losses. The method is based on the dependence of the active field power flux entering through the surface of the ferromagnetic structure from the tangential component of the magnetic field strength on this surface. Local losses, measured using the described method, may differ from the actual by 5-15%, but the measurement is carried out simply and fairly quickly. Figures 5. Bibliographic references 9.
