Longitudinal-transverse magnetization in implicit polar machines.
Abstract
Based on tensor representations, it is shown that an implicit-polar machine in a saturated state is characterized by three generally different parameters of the armature reaction — dynamic self-induction coefficients along two mutually orthogonal axes and a dynamic mutual induction coefficient between them. A simple and mathematically rigorous method of calculating these parameters is presented, requiring knowledge of only the magnetization curve of the machine. Using the example of a machine with a normal magnetization curve, it is shown that the dynamic coefficient of mutual induction between mutually orthogonal contours has one order with the coefficients of self-induction along two axes.
