Analog model of DC electric drive in statics and its use for calculating circuit parameters

Abstract

The principle of constructing a block-system model of an automated electric drive in statics using blocks of an analog computer is set forth. The equation of the mechanical characteristic is derived, which allows us to show that it is impossible to directly construct the mechanical characteristic using the specified parameters due to a violation of the model setting of the characteristic of the source of adjustable voltage feeding the engine. This problem can be solved with the help of the compensation principle. The block system of the drive model and the basic principles of the analysis and synthesis of the circuit parameters are given. Examples relate mainly to tasks related to the design of electric drives of metal-cutting machine tools.
