Single-Layer Two-Speed Windings for an Induction Motor

Abstract

Abstract. The synthesis of three-phase two-speed pole-changing windings (PСW) with a pole ratio of 2p1:2p2 = 8:6 and a commutation scheme УУУ/УУУ in 54 stator slots was carried out. The table-vector method was used for the synthesis of PCW. The main attention is paid to the synthesis of single-layer two-speed windings. According to the results of the calculations, a new single-layer two-speed winding scheme 2p1:2p2 = 8:6 with a commutation scheme УУУ/УУУ is recommended for use in motors with 54 stator slots.
