Abstract
The tasks of creating a highly reliable technological automation and high-speed positional tracking system for controlling the electric drive of the pressing plate reversing plate mill are being solved. To automate the pressure device, an self-adjusting system is proposed that determines the amount of optimal compression for each subsequent pass using information about the actual rolling parameters in previous passes and issues a task to move the pressure screws with a high-speed high-precision positional tracking system (PSS). The tracking positioning system is optimized by analytically designing regulators (current, speed and path), optimal for the root-mean-square error and extreme in speed.
